Metoprolol succ er
Metroprolol Succ er is a type of beta- blocker that has a direct effect on how the blood flows through arteries and veins. It is used to treat conditions such as angina (pains in the chest) and hypertension (high blood pressure).
However, Metroprolol Succ er has also been known to be given to people as an effective way to prevent heart attacks. It can also go by the names of Metroprolol Succinate, Lopressor and Toprol-xl.
However, this drug should not be taken by people who have any of the following conditions:
- A serious heart issue such as heart block, sick sinus syndrome, or slow (than average) heart rate.
- Any kind of serious circulation problems.
- Severe heart failure that has required you to stay in hospital.
- A history of slow or irregular heart rates that have caused you to feel light headed or faint.

It can also have an effect on the lives of the people taking it.
